Quick Start Guide
Permissions: Upon first launch, Nairobi will ask for permission to access your camera. This is essential for the app to function, as it uses computer vision to calculate your position.
Getting Started: Simply point your camera towards your surroundings. The app will automatically analyze the environment to sync your location.
Navigation: Once your position is detected, follow the on-screen guidance to move smoothly between museum rooms and exhibits.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why does the app need access to my camera?
The app uses your camera exclusively for "Computer Vision" to analyze the room in real-time and provide accurate indoor navigation. No images or video footage are ever recorded, saved, or transmitted to external servers.
The app isn't tracking my position correctly. What should I do?
Please ensure the museum area has sufficient lighting. Try moving to a more open area within the room and hold your device steady for a few seconds to allow the system to re-sync. Or re-scan the QRCode
I accidentally denied camera permissions. How can I fix this?
Go to your device's Settings, find Nairobi in your app list, and toggle the Camera permission to "ON".
Does the app require an internet connection?
Nairobi is designed for a seamless, offline experience, as all processing occurs locally on your device
